Castle Rock Enterprises is a fully integrated Yukon-based construction company that offers a range of services to both residential and commercial customers from reclamation to heavy construction. We are looking for an experienced Construction Foreman to join our team. As the point person for both workers and Superintendents, this role is a key player that drives a project to completion.
Job Description
Work closely with the Superintendent to execute jobsite work activities in an effective and efficient manner that conforms to CRE’s high quality and safety standards.
Supervise, motivate, inspect, observe, and delegate tasks to workers.
Monitor productivity, promote training and cross training of all assigned workers, and promote our company values.
Resolve problems as they arise and report on progress to Superintendents and management.
Qualifications
5+ years experience as a lead hand in construction with experience in water/sewer and earthworks.
Comprehensive understanding of Occupational Health & Safety Standards in the Yukon.
Significant supervisory experience and the ability to lead by example.
Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications and other documents.
Ability to operate heavy equipment is considered an asset.
Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and outstanding organizational skills.
