Odessa Epp
Chair
Odessa Epp was born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon. She is a Champagne & Aishihik First Nation citizen. Odessa obtained her Bachelor of Commerce and Masters of Professional Accounting degrees from University of Saskatchewan and is a Chartered Professional Accountant. She has been employeed as a Chartered Accountant in Saskatchewan, Cayman Islands and Yukon. Odessa returned home to the Yukon in 2011 and enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and three children.
Martin Eckervogt
Martin brings more than 25 years of construction experience in both the private and public sectors to the Dakwakada board. Martin completed his Business Diploma in Alberta in 1987 and moved back to the Yukon to work with and eventually manage a family owned construction company. This work has included placer mining, civil and residential construction, and a land treatment facility. More recently Martin has been working in the public sector working primarily in the field of municipal water and wastewater, as well as property management. Martin, along with his three daughters, enjoy favorite outdoor activities that include fishing, cycling, and cross-country skiing.
Alex Doepel
Alex Doepel has 25 years of progressive management experience and diverse experiences in making positive contributions and advancements within the oil and gas, food and beverage, natural products, retail and feed agriculture industries. He has a diverse background having held management roles within Finance, Operations, Business Development, Technology, Logistics, Manufacturing, and General Management. In addition to his diverse experience he is currently completing his thesis for a Masters of Business Administration from the Australian Institute of Business and is a member of the PMI Institute.
Ed Long
Ed Long was born and raised in the Yukon Territory. He is a member of the Champagne and Aishihik First Nation; as well as a husband and father of two. He received his diploma in geology from NAIT. He is currently the president of All in Exploration Solutions Inc. Mr. Long is a prospector and Natural Resource Specialist with 5 years in Small Business Management. He has been a board member on the Yukon salmon sub-committee since 2010 as well as a past board member on the Champagne and Aishihik First Nations lands committee.
